![]() I would honestly love a direct sequel to this game as I have played it all the way on console and on PC and there just aren't any villain protag games quite like this one (except for Overlord and Fable 1 as an evil playthrough, but I like to think all three games are the same character). ![]() Something I would absolutely love to see in the future is the ability to customize your units, maybe see Thalya grow into a Dungeon Lord all her own (not necessarily an enemy either), even more variety of units (having more than one singular healer unit would be nice, maybe some evil dryads or something), and some more significance in regards to how you obtain units in the game. The only problems I have with it is some of the story missions are absolutely rage inducing, you have to save scum fairly aggressively while playing since you can accidentally dig your way into a boss room at the same time as heroes invade your dungeon, rapidly leading to your forces being slaughtered, and the methods for moving units around inside your dungeon are fairly limited, reckless, and inefficient. Thalya is fantastic, the Narrator is entertaining (albeit a little too talkative, but you can easily silence him), the DLC is enjoyable, and the story is both exciting and funny. The first game had some flaws that made it a headache, the second game successfully allowed you to feel like a real villain, and the third game perfected itself. ![]() Absolutely fantastic game, easily the best of the series (so far I hope). ![]()
